On Saturday, September 28, 2019, the Warner Robins Alumnae Chapter (WRAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated will host our first annual Peach Classic 5K Walk\/Run and Fun Run at the Houston County Galleria in Centerville, Georgia. \u00a0Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization&#8217;s Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>For over 30 years, the WRAC has actively served Houston, Bleckley, and Pulaski Counties through various community programs to include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual Scholarships ($150K+ awarded to college bound students since inception)<\/li>\n<li>Annual Poetry\/Art contest (Grades K-12)<\/li>\n<li>Delta Academy\/GEMS Mentoring Program (young girls age 11-18)Additional programs are highlighted on the attached flyer.We appreciate your support.
