Save the Date! On Saturday, September 28, 2019, the Warner Robins Alumnae Chapter (WRAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated will host our first annual Peach Classic 5K Walk/Run and Fun Run at the Houston County Galleria in Centerville, Georgia. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
For over 30 years, the WRAC has actively served Houston, Bleckley, and Pulaski Counties through various community programs to include:
- Annual Scholarships ($150K+ awarded to college bound students since inception)
- Annual Poetry/Art contest (Grades K-12)
- Delta Academy/GEMS Mentoring Program (young girls age 11-18)Additional programs are highlighted on the attached flyer.We appreciate your support.
