About Us
With zeal to serve the public, the Warner Robins Alumnae Chapter (WRAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on March 4, 1989. Our mission is to foster the high ideals of community service which are reflected in the sorority’s national program. In light of the chapter serving as an interchange connection for many transient sorors, the WRAC has been very visible in the community since its inception 30 years ago.
Annually, the chapter awards scholarships to deserving college-bound high school graduates and Central Georgia Technical College students; sponsors a poetry/art contest to showcase the artistic ability of local youths; provides financial fortitude information; brings HIV/AIDS awareness during World Aids Day; partners with the city’s Genesis Joy House, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and Habitat for Humanity programs; adopts charities for holidays; hosts an International Day of Service event; and participates in Relay for Life. We’ve also held numerous voters’ registration drives, hosts the annual Crimson and Crème Gala, Sisterhood and Scholarship Luncheon, and implement other various service initiatives.
